My intention for this project was to revisit an important memory of my childhood home in the Philippines.

 

The Philippines is known for its tropical storms and intense rainy weather. While storms are usually violent, I wanted to focus on how I personally found it comforting. My childhood home was often busy and lively, so I incorporated sounds of people talking and sounds of movement. In my voice-over, I chose to describe the routine my family does whenever there is a storm coming.

 

My overall goal was to create a comforting ambiance with the rain and busy home life.
